Prattville is home to an intriguing spot called Wilderness Park that grows thick with bamboo, collected years ago by an exotic plant lover. Case and I explored there today after school. The air hung thick with humidity and the heady scent of kudzu blossoms. Listening to the cicadas drone made me feel like I was back in Japan.
