He is so close to learning to swim.
The fear of going under is gone, now it is just months of learning the movements, coordination and timing involved. Maybe he'll figure it out before the end of the summer. 
Learning things isn't a lightbulb moment for him, it's a long slow sunrise. But it's so bright once it's up.

That is so good. He will be swimming in no time. The big fear for kids is going under water. That surely doesn't bother him with the mask on, so it is off to the races. Not only will he be swimming, but he will be talking about it too!
