Shovel

You can tell we just got to the beach, because there are only a few holes; by the time we left it looked like the surface of the moon. Monkey and I went to the beach after school today, and he entertained himself for an hour and a half by digging up one shovel full of sand, and flinging it over his shoulder. Again and again. The kid is going to have serious arms by the time he thinks of a new game to play.
To add to the bizarreness of living on a military base, while we were swimming a dozen commandos in full bdus and backpacks came swimming in. Case was delighted.
