This morning while doing a little yard work Case and I found a toad who patiently let us poke him a few times to make him hop, and even tolerated being picked up.
Case was very gentle while holding him, even though the wiggling gave him the giggles.
It sounds like the toad was a good sport, though I've noticed most exothermic animals tend to be real patient when you find them in the shade on a cool day.
