Hooky

We played hooky today (Stake Conference: loads of fun for Case!) and went to the beach.

Case was buried 5 or 6 times because he is good at suckering his parents into digging holes for him. Keep living it up as an only child, dude.

Marc found shells and looked hot.

I knit.

Shutterbug

Not suprisingly, Case is very interested in cameras. After he took over 200 pictures at Lauren's wedding, I looked around at various child-proof cameras but none got very good reviews. Case grew tired of waiting for me and helped himself to our little Powershot, which gets nearly no use since I got the Rebel.

He has since taken THOUSANDS of pictures.

Self-portraits are his favorite subject.

He also likes to pose his toys and take pictures of them.

Kitty!
Elmo!He is very particular about lighting. He gets this effect by holding his fingers over the flash, and even into the frame a little.

He takes his share of dramatic arty photos too.

I think his best pics are of his family. I am admittedly biased, though.

Dentist

Not Case, me. I had an appointment to get a new crown glued on and I brought Case with me. He was so good! He found the tiny tools facinating. He also documented the process.

Sprinklers

Case loves playing in the sprinklers. He likes to pick blades of grass and hold them in the stream, wisking them out of his fingers and into the air. He doesn't play in them like other kids though.

I've been thinking about adding a Roomba to my cleaning arsonal. It could be friends with the Dyson.

PreK Graduation

Last Wednesday was Case's PreK graduation ceremony.

It was a cute little ceremony, if you are in to that sort of thing.Case is not.
