Case has befriended all the neighborhood birds.
They don't quite eat out of his hand, but pretty close.
They fly up when he goes in the back yard, hoping he has brought a cup of seeds to throw them, or maybe a snack that he will share.
But because I am the meanest mom in the world I now demand they be fed strictly on the grass, because I am tired of bird poop on our patio.

I think it is great he gets such a thrill out of watching the birds, bees, ants, crabs, just doing what they like to do. I think I get as much fun as he does just watching him!
